SSB Brawl: Bowser's Final Smash

Get the cannons it's Godzilla! Wait! It's only his brother Giga Bowser. Who would of imagine us being able to control the event 51 boss from SSBM and reign tower down on those poor other fools?

What?! You can control Giga Bowser from Super Smash Bros. Melee?!

It’s Bowser’s Final Smash!!

What, you think just because he’s huge, you can needle him with lots of little attacks and keep him off balance? Heh heh... Yeah, you keep thinking that.

You can only be Giga Bowser for a short time, though, so you’d better take your enemies out while you can. Bear in mind, too, that while escaping from Giga Bowser, fighters might decide it’s a good strategy to pick off the stragglers in his wake...

    Sounds stupid, i would want to play with him the whole game though i guess it would make the game easier. Oh well.

    I don't get it, seems to me that Bowser is being turned into a preferred character, people will be picking him more because as of now, from what we see, Bowser will have a distinct advantage over his opponents.

    Hmmmm, is a cool addition though just seems unfair.

      Dude, you only get to play as Giga Bowser for a few seconds whenever you get a Final Smash icon. Everyone has their own final smash, not just Bowser.

      And wow, Giga Bowser looks creepy.

      People probably won't always pick Bowser because of this. This update probably shows that Ganondorf's Final Smash will have him transform into Ganon. If Bowser can still be damaged while Giga Bowser, it can be a disadvantage though as he's an easy target.

    Yeah, its sounds like Bowser's final smash is just a combination of a super shroom and a starman. Hopefully it doesn't last too long, because having that colossal monster on the smaller fields will get annoying very quickly.

    The Final Smashes in Brawl are all great. Many people wanted to play as Giga Bowser, and now they will be.

    I think what Nintendo is trying to do is make some of the less-appealing characters a lot better. In SSBM, most people would play as Ganondorf, Roy, Marth, Samus, Captain Falcon, maybe some others, and everybody else just sucked. Hopefully if every character has an edge in combat and not just five or six, the battles will be a lot more varied.

      Only one listed there I actually played as is Roy. Peach, Roy, Ice Climbers, and Mr. Game & Watch were some of my best and favourites. Peach was probably the most useful character in Melee though with her float ability and some of her more powerful attacks.

    well with bowser being as haed to knock off the stage in the past games, i can tell that using him at the right time would save u from dieng, but that is only if u have final smash icon at the right time, but i wonder how high he can jump?

    Haha nice, Giga Bowser was a crazy dude to fight in Melee, though easy to hit. If there is anything like Jigglypuff's sleep attack in Brawl, then this final smash would be easy to overcome. It'll sure be a power increase though.

      Pikachu has had a few updates on the Smash Bros site, including his Final Smash attack.

      Some of these Final Smashes though make me wonder what other characters' will be like, like Peach, the Ice Climbers, and Mr. Game & Watch .

      Did you play this on the N64, I am guessing that since Kirby was weaker in Melee.

      And yes, Kirby was lethal back then. With a good rivals move, some good timing, and some good movements and Kirby is the least touchable.

    Rinky, Giga Bowser is invincible now, no attacks can stop him, not even a Rest attack.

    I always thought that Giga Bowser was awesome, and now I get to play as him. Yay!

    If they did this for Bowser, as Jesse1234567 said, it does make you think about others.

    Meh. It seems to be okay, not big enough reason for me to play that slow character Bowser though.

    well basically if it is on a small stage u could really pwn, considering his strength, and also that he is invincible during that state, it could also save u from another final smash i would think.
