Fear is not over, my good friend. The ApocalyPS3 has come and gone. You are still alive on earth. Draw your own conclusion.

I know, 24 hours without gaming and suddenly the world is ending.

Either way it ends eventually, now would just be the worst possible moment, when gamers everywhere are deprived of gaming.

What's funny is people almost seemed to get more upset over this than the RROD simply because it happened to a lot of people on the same day.

Imagine if the RROD happened to everyone on the same day. And get this, you actually had to send your unit in to be fixed because it wasn't a simple fix like the internal clock just having to tick over to the next day, your system was actually screwed and you had a much more legitimate reason to be upset.

Regardless, it's a silly issue. Bottom line is a clock bug prevented me from playing a game...and I can't even play an offline game. xD Heavy Rain said no, because the trophies weren't registering. It wasn't too big a deal, I just went back to Mass Effect 2, but I haven't used my PS3 to play a game in a very long time, took this as a sign.

To top it off, the PS Blog mentioned how PS3 slim owners are fine...it was mentioned more than once. To me it was a bit of advertisement, that we should update to be more "safe."

It's like a gang sending their own members to break shop windows of a shop under their protection before the next day the gang leader walks in and says they need to pay more money for better protection. Damn mafia bastards

Haha, extreme example. xD Then again, same can be said about the 360, the newer models less likely to get RRoD. I've had mine for nearly four years without any RRoD issues though, lucky me.

That's more like a gang sending out a mass wave of killers to take over a city, only some of them were retarded and ending up aiming the wrong end of the gun.

What's that saying? "March roars in like a lion, and leaves like a lamb?" Something like that.

But it's so true. This will be remembered as the PS3 apocalypse. I'm thinking December 21st 2012 is going to be when all the 360's eat their owners.

It's gonna happen on 2360. By then all the 360's will have been abandoned and left on Earth as we all go to the new planets and live there. They'll form together and wage war on humanity. It shall be known as Y2360. No-one will survive.

Except Chuck Norris. He'll then mate with the rocks, thus forming angry rock people that will save humanity.

Then when the smoke clears, we'll rebuild and Sony will run the world under a strict communist rule.

By that time we'd have figured out necromancy. Bruce Lee would have been bought back to life, he'd have killed Chuck Norris in a one-on-one duel and the internet's inexplicable love of the beardy weardy will have died with him.

'sides, no-one will survive Y2360. Sony will have nothing lef tot rebuild

Hideo, you need a column or something if you don't already have one. You come up with the most epic scenarios that make my day.
