Ubisoft’s DRM server outage renders Assassin’s Creed II unplayable

Ubisoft’s servers went down over the weekend which rendered the PC version of Assassin’s Creed II unplayable. They first blamed the outage on "over whelming demand" but in a tweet today revealed that the servers were under attack.

      "Overwhelming demand" is a better spin than "Our shit DRM idea prompted people to launch attacks on the server."
