Just a few months after its record-breaking launch on November 10, 2009, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 has reached an unprecedented new milestone concerning unique users for the PC, Playstation 3 and Xbox 360.

    So they've started counting the pirates as paying customers now?

    Last I checked they had 4-5 million...then a few months on along with the sudden coincidence of being in the shadow of BC2 and boom...25 million

    Either they are counting pirates, can't count or someone made a typo

    Haha, I'm one. I'm sure there are a few people that use more than one account with PSN (it's free, so those that don't want to hurt their precious stats but still want to play as a joke sometimes exploit this) though.
