"Handling worldwide distribution". You mean the west gets it while the east + Australia gets the hand-me down Rock Band 2.

Unfortunately yeah. It doesn't make sense why they do that when they know there are thousands of people in those regions that want it. Why not just release it all around the same time.

As I recall, according to them we're "too small of a market to make it worthwhile". So to maximize profits they simply send any excess copies over here to gain that small margin of profit and treat the product as "new". From a purely business point of view, only counting the numbers, it's a good move. From an actual business point of view who's profits come from happy people, it's plain idiotic. But, what can you do except import.

I know wtf, if I hadn't got mine from overseas I'd still be stuck on RB1 -_-

Its about damn time they announced it. Now lets just hope there isn't some queer 360-exclusivity deal involved again...

    I still am on RB1.

I've gotten kicked in the nuts twice now. No RB2 for Australia, and no RBN for PS3. Making new friends already Harmonix.

It's because of Microsoft for the most part. Sure no Rock Band 2 is EA's fault but RBN is Microsoft's fault and the timed release in other regions is Microsoft's fault.

Lets hope Rock Band 3 can kick the current rhythm genre trend of shittier and shittier setlists.

Speaking in defense for Band Hero and L:RB, they were made for kids, so the toned down setlist was excusable. But I agree. The setlist needs to be able to put GH2 and RB1's setlists to shame.

Beating GH2 and RB1's setlist will be hard without Zeppelin.

Exactly. Maybe throw in a little Floyd and some Neil Young and some "Bohemian Rhapsody" and you've already got a killer setlist!

It'll be easy, just roll with Freddie Mercury all day.
