A report on the official confirmation that PlatinumGames' forthcoming Vanquish will launch on both Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 across Europe in 2010, as well as the revelation of new story details.

SEGA Europe has announced that the new title from PlatinumGames and Shinji Mikami, the creator of the Resident Evil series, Vanquish, will be available in Winter 2010 on both Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Revealed in late January with an impressive CGI trailer, Vanquish is a Science-Fiction Shooter set in the near-future, in a world hanging on a delicate balance.
