OnLive was introduced at the Games Developer Conference last year to a combination of intrigue and skepticism. A closed beta was launched later in the year but few if any details were revealed of how it performed. Now one year removed from its initial annoncement, a release date of June 17 has been announced for the OnLive service.

    There's no way they're going to get any of the PC market at $15/month. If you're a PC gamer, you most likely already have a machine powerful enough to handle all the games. There's no point in paying $15/month on top of buying games just so the games are processed using cloud computing.

    Yeah, the subscription price killed any interest I had left in this.
