It's hit North American shores, Europe heard nothing. It's now been officially announced as hitting Japanese shores on October 11, still Europe hears nothing. Oh, the life we lead as gamers and Euro-pee-ons while awaiting the arrival of the Xbox 360 Elite. Tis not fair, we tell thee, tis not fair.

Microsoft's Japanese representatives have revealed today that the Elite version of the Xbox 360 will be released in the region on October 11. The 120GB hard drive-equipped version of the firm's next-generation console will retail for 47,800 Yen ($390 USD), almost $90 USD cheaper than the cost of the machine in North America.

Trust me, you don't want it. It's better to just get the Premium version and be done with it...Elite's got even more problems I hear. Japan in general doesn't like the Xbox...I'm surprised they would focus there rather than Europe.
