Pop punk rockers Green Day had their Rock Band game announced last year and now it has finally been given a worldwide release date of June 8. Just a few months before Rock Band 3 is released.

Harmonix and MTV Games have announced the release date, features, and prices for the upcoming Green Day version of Rock Band. Lauding the pop punk rockers, the press releases states that the game "aims to encapsulate the spirit and energy of a band that has sold more than 50 million records worldwide and been hailed as one of the best live acts touring today."
