After being tipsed by users from the official 2K Games forums, Go Fanboy has posted imagery taken of the DLC for 2K's BioShock 2 entitled Sinclair Solutions Tester Pack which shows an impossibly small data size for it to be DLC which proves it's already on the disc.

Gamers who have paid for the "downloadable content" for BioShock 2 are pretty upset after finding out it's not really downloadable content since it is already on the disc. While many sites have reported their suspicions about the ripoff, users from 2K's official forums are posting proof today.

Tis all over alot of sites this, you basically pay for the unlocking code.

2K said something like "We had to put our first DLC on the disc as it's multiplayer based, if it wasn't on the disc alot of people couldn't play with their friends who had the DLC when they didn't"

It's just another glorified way of saying "Yup! We've *bleep*in ripped you off!"

It's been happnening so much lately I'm forgetting to care...

Although next thing you'll here is that they have the entire sequel already on the disk and you need to pay £35 to unlock it...

I swear to christ I just gave someone an idea then

Don't be silly, a sequel is a full price product in any language, even if it's simply rehashed elements of the previous game

I had hoped 2K were above this, even if they try to explain it away with it having to be there.

It's nice to know 2K truly care about their consumers.

Now to go edit the ever shrinking list of good developers left in the industry.
