Of course it is so fast selling. The game is *bleep*ing balls.

In a bad way or a good way?

        Darknet Mar 15, 10
That would be the good balls.

More 'gamers' than there has been before equals more sales.

    So... yeah.

Or that it is now multiplatform for the first time ever.

Good point. It's been so long since this felt like a norm I forgot about it

Yeah nail on the head there Darknet. The fact that it's now multiplat and not console exclusive means it's selling shit tons more.

Depends on how you'd classify shit-tons, after all a large number of FF 'fans' are morons as the booing in the other article has shown

          FinalFantasyFanaticc Mar 15, 10
Well, You have a point about the booing article, but FFXIII has been reported to be No1 in the 360 sales for this week, knocking BFBC2 off the top chart.

          So, I dunno, Alot?

Well, I consider shit-tons to be in the same league as a metric *bleep*-ton, as in much, much more then the norm/what you might expect. Internationally I'd say the 360 sales are doing as expected, since you know how most of Asia would stand in this. It's just here and America there are more 360's than PS3's in general, so it having a rather high sales count on this side makes sense.

        Stop right there criminal scum.

Final Fantasy 7 and 8 were multiplatform, they were released on PC. Some people have modded the game for better graphics.

I guess PC doesn't count as another platform.

It would if it wasn't released a year later and worked like shit.

How can that be? It's not FFVII, so therefore is a horrible game, right? Isn't that how it goes?

      FinalFantasyFanaticc Mar 15, 10
Nah, FFVII was a fantastic game, but it's clearly overrated in the FF series, there are plentiful other FF games which clearly outrank FFVII in greatness, FFV & VI are examples of this.

I seem to be on of the few who doesn't have it.I don't plan on getting it either until it's no more than AU$50 and maybe not even then.

High sales =/= Quality. I've seen some pretty sh*tty games get high sales just over hype.

but this game does have quality to go along with high sales

I'm really enjoying the game. At first it was very slow, I wonder if newcomers had no problem with this, it was probably much nicer for them. For long time fans it was painfully slow. I'm about 10 hours in and having a blast, it's quite challenging, you really have to keep on your toes or you can get straight wrecked by even normal enemies but it's not hard to dominate them if you know what you're doing too.
