Following the launch of a countdown site a week ago, .hack and Naruto: Narutimate Hero developer CyberConnect2's Nintendo DS project, which was teased three years ago, is finally unveiled in this week's issue of Weekly Famitsu. The game? Solarobo - Sore kara coda he, an apparent spiritual successor to the developer's PlayStation 1 title Tail Concerto. Solarobo is set for release in Japan later this year.

In development for three years and in the planning stages for ten, Solarobo is an action RPG with anthromorphic dogs as your main characters, with control of mechanical robots as seen in the scans. The game will be directed by Tail Concerto director Takayuki Isobe, with the visuals and character design led by Nobuteru Yuki, who also worked on Tail Concerto. Super Robot Wars' Yoshitake Taniguchi is working on the mecha design and illustration.
