The comments on that examiner website are hilarious. This is one the reasons why I don't like xbox. Thats all they do over there; lie. They then always get caught like this example and have to make it sound like we the readers read it wrong. They always have to cover up their comments and make it seem they never happened in the first place. If you want true stats, go listen or read what Sony or Nintendo releases. You wont get inflated stats like Microsoft dishes out.

I like the way he's proud that the Xbox 360 is winning in only one region. The PS3 is winning in Europe and Japan. I do see most of their lead being down to those in the first year buying multiple consoles after theirs broke outside of the 6 month warranty.

I just like that these sales wars between Wii, Xbox360 & PS3 only end onc eeach one successor is in the market and they're behind worked out.

So in short, PS3 has seven years, or eight maybe,to go while Wii has another half a decade about, so long as the casual fad continues that is, while Xbox are the only console of the three which is already in the process of getting the next model out.

So I don't see why producers and execs come out and say these things when they already know that officially they're not going to outsell it because it's going to have more time to do so. However, if by some how, the Xbox360 sells more units in it's shorter term than PS3 does in the long haul, it will be a massive bitch slap to Sony.

We know that won't happen. The year head start Microsoft had over Sony has been shortened to a mere 3-4 million units over the original 12 million unit lead Microsoft had at the start. Sony has been cutting that lead week in week out since the PS3 launched.
