In a recent interview on the Japanese Square Enix Members area, Tetsuya Nomura has revealed further information regarding the upcoming Final Fantasy Versus XIII title – currently set to be released exclusively on PlayStation 3.
In a response to a question as to how much of the game is complete, Nomura responds “Things are not connected yet, every part is moving along separately. However, we have gotten airships working over the world map.”

However, if they do keep it exclusive and basically lose out on alot of money, i'm getting a PS3 sometime this year, so i'll be ready for Versus XIII either way.
In short: It just won't happen
Now that I think of it, I really can't fault FF13 in any way... I mean yeah the opening is slow, and not as good as the game is now. But if the game only continues to get better, how can it not be an awesome game? I mean if it started out awesome and then started to suck at the end, that would be terrible (and it could still happen).
There are a lot of things that are worth pushing through because the end is worth it in life.
What annoys me most is the FFXIII world looks so vibrant and interesting but we're rushed through to quickly to enjoy it. Someone said to me earlier "you're only 12 hours it, it's only gonng get good later" well I'm very F***ing sorry but I have a busy life and I'm not gonna sit and play through 16 hours of shoite just to get to something decent or better. So no, I'm not impressed with XIII at all thus far.
Make up your mind, is it not worth playing or is it? Because it sure sounds like you're going to continue to play it. Think about what you write before you go and make yourself into a complete fool.
I've got four days until I can next get to a gamestop, I might spare it another hour but probably not, sorry if my perfectly normal need of wanting to get what I pay seems 'foolish' to one such as yourself.
If you're so intent on getting your money's worth then why don't you stop being so critical of every thing and just try to enjoy yourself? It's very possible you know. Especially if you're going to push on to the end to "get your moneys worth" you might as well see the cup as half full, no?
Don't *bleep* with logic.
Btw has anyone heard any news on Versus release frame?
