Mass Effect 2 "Firewalker" DLC due March 23

Free DLC featuring the Hammerhead tank coming to PC and Xbox 360 versions of Mass Effect 2 next week. Five new missions in all for those that purchased Mass Effect 2 new.

Are you one of those that miss the Gecko from the first Mass Effect? Then you might want to check out Mass Effect 2's "Firewalker" DLC when it comes out next Tuesday. If you're willing to pay the high entry price of free then you'll be able to take the hover tank "Hammerhead" for a spin across five missions.

      No idea, I haven't finished the original Mass Effect.

      However, I'm looking forward to the DLC. I haven't played ME2 for a while, got to get back into the habit.

      Sounds like someone was watching a Geico commercial and meant to write "Mako".

    The Mako was both irritating and slightly fun. Whilst the physics were kind of messed up and it was very easy to be shot down, they did give the game some breaks between heavy dialogue and cover shooting.

    I haven't played ME2 yet but this is good news, since it seems mostly like shooting - not exactly Mass Effect's greatest asset.

    Can't wait, more free DLC? Yes please! The Hammerhead looks immensely fun to play too =D

    Then we have the Kasumi DLC coming next month!

    Bioware are spoiling us =D

      There is an Alternate Appearance DLC coming out on the 23rd too.
