Might explain why the visuals haven't progressed very far and for the general existence of 3rd gen.

Can't blame him for the change ofm ind considering just how much profit the series has to be raking in.

      I second that.

Free roam with 3D battles would be awesome.

I'm surprised so many people continue to buy and play these games when they're almost identical every time.

Haha, this isn't so bad. The sports games have even lesser differences each year and still sell extremely well.

A winning formula will win out every time at the end of the day... although, there have been a couple of pretty cruddy Pokemon games.

I'm personally glad they didn't stop these games because I still think they are awesome.

Ha to think Nintendo planned on ending the franchise back then. It'll never happen now, they can fill the market as they please and it'll still sell.

They might as well fill the market with something, because in this economy, if it's going to sell well, the best option is to go with it. Otherwise, you'll lose customers and money that could be used for other projects.

Heh, doesn't suprise me, hell I was shocked when they announced Ruby and Sapphire, but DAMN are the games addictive!

The TV show is a pile of shit though.
