A report on the announcement of a new project from the team behind the popular Nexuiz, a GPL First Person Shooter game developing under the name on Xonotic.

A new project currently in development by the team responsible for the widely popular Nexuiz has been revealed today. Xonotic will be a free (GPL), fast-paced First-Person Shooter (FPS) for Microsoft Windows, Mac OSX and Linux. Xonotic is a direct successor of the Nexuiz Project, which is currently being converted to console formats by newly formed publishers Illfonic.
