There is almost nothing that makes your day like the announcement of a sequel to one of your favourite games. Here are 50 games which should a sequel but don't. Outlaws, Mafia, Stubbs the Zombie. Which will take number 1

Note this list is broken into two articles, after reading part 1 go down the bottom and click on part 2

Sometimes the game industry seems so submerged in established franchises and straight-off-the-conveyor-belt sequels it seems impossible that any new IP has a chance of being noticed. But for every twenty Christmas cash cows that infest store shelves with their mediocrity, there is that one sequel we deeply yearn for – that great game that demands another shot at the big time but is bewilderingly ignored. Maybe it has merely become lost in the forgotten back catalogue of a now defunct publisher or perhaps it has been buried beneath the egotistical loggerheads of past-it developers, given up on and stuck in developmental hell. Unable to find the light as fans yell from their couches… encore! Encore! Encore!

List fails. It doesn't have Legend of Dragoon on it.

Legend of Dragoon really does need a sequel. I never finished the game, which is regretable, but it was awesome.

Iv never played the REAL legend of dragoon, but I have played a Demo, and from that, I could say it would need a sequal.

Do they not know Chrono Trigger had a sequel? Well, not so much a sequel as is is FF8 to FF7. There was a continuation in the series, and I think there were even similarities in the games, but maybe not an exact seqeuel. I swear, I'm the only person who bought Chrono Cross.

And Jet Force Gemini really did need a sequel. I say they hit up next gen consoles with that idea. That game rocked on N64.

Half of these games don't need a sequel, though. Games like Shadow of the Collosus felt complete. Why's FarCry on there? And Bully...that game is still quite new. Meh, can't say I agree with the list.

No just no, A lot of those games don't deserve and sequel and don't need one at that. I agreed with around 5 of them not 50.

Why is there a picture of Maniac Mansion, yet it doesn't appear on the list?

I do agree with Indigo Prophecy (Farenheit) getting a sequel though. Everything else... meh.
