They just keep coming. As if to answer to people's saying that the PS2 is a dead console, NIS America is bringing not one, but TWO more Strategy-RPG titles to PS2.

Idea Factory isn’t giving up on the Playstation 2 and they have two more strategy RPGs based on their hallmark franchises in development. Spectral Gene is the latest entry in the Spectral universe and the story is about the rebirth of demon. Standard stuff for tactical RPGs, but the combat system could be interesting. Also in development is Generation of Chaos: Desire, a new entry in the strategy RPG cross board game series. Neither of these titles have been confirmed for release outside of Japan. However, NIS America introduced the rest of the world to Neverland on the PSP with two Generation of Chaos games and Spectral Souls.

Sounds good as I am planning on keeping my Ps2 and not opt for the Ps3 yet. I like it that at least someone is still trying to produce some good games for the console.

See I just find this quite pointless. I understand that some keen avid gamers such as tidus04 may wait to step up to the Playstation 3 but the majority of gamers would already have. This therefore means that surely the market the developers have to aim for in the Playstation 2 field is of the games that are going to suit the not so frequent gamer. Continue on with the EA Sport franchises and such, keep those that rarely play games happy. I just can't see how bringing out RPG games for a dying console is a good idea...
