With rumours rife across the Internet that the PS3 is about to plunge in price by $100 USD in the US and $150 CAD in Canada (thanks to scanned retail flyers), Sony Corp. has stepped forward to quash any such chatter with a big fat "No!" Sony president Ryoji Chubachi has been nudged forward nervously by his peers to dismiss any mounting speculation that the next-generation machine will be having its price tag snipped: "At present we have no plans," to cut the PS3 price, Ryoji Chubachi told Reuters in an interview this morning.
