Got a huge carbon footprint? Drive the kids to school in a giant SUV? Regularly travel the globe on airliners with no regard whatsoever for the state of the environment? Well then, take a moment to consider playengine's new bamboo mouse... and take that first step on the long road to ecological redemption.

For a mere £18.99 GBP, playengine's bamboo creation tempts you in with a whole load of product blurb that, if you decide to buy, will make you feel just that little bit less guilty when you jump into your gas guzzling 4x4 for a trip to the shops... 100 yards down the road.

I wonder what process has more of a impact on the environment. making a plastic mouse or a bamboo mouse (that finish on it implies a lot of chemicals being used, otherwise you'd get splinters!!)

Both need to be made in a factory, that bamboo one requires machines to cut/polish/etc....

well if you are really into PC games, t makes sense to get a comfortable mouse... but in terms of bamboo...it looks just as unomfortable as the normal ones..

But by that logic, an article on a 3D generator being tested for internet communication could be posted, if one considered the gaming applications.
