GameStop dates and prices Xbox 360 branded USB drives

Oh GameStop. How your website inadvertently (or not) leaks game and product information before the companies are ready to let loose with that information. But you keep on GameStop. It keeps us entertained.

After letting slip the date and price of the stand-alone Xbox 360 250GB hard drive, GameStop has once again come out ahead of Microsoft to let the public know when and how much a new product is coming out. This time, it is the Xbox 360 branded USB flash drives.

    are you fu#king kidding me! $69.99USD for a 16gb flash drive. I just searched Buy.com and found 30-40 different 16gb flash drives and the price averaged approx $22USD with free shipping. once again its time for overpriced 1st party memory units. But at least this time we get some variety.

    Wasn't it just a few months ago that Microsoft sent out an update that made it so your 360 couldn't detect third-party storage devices?

    I figured they would start selling their own.
