An announcement today by Visceral Games has confirmed that a demo for Dead Space 2 will arrive, and be more accessible and useful to the gamer this time around.

The original games demo arrived a month after the game released, which was too late for a large amount of people who had already moved on to other games and lost interest in Dead Space.

Don't think it really matters what they try to deliver. I mean the first was great and it wasn't really that scary. I am all for developers realising their strong point and going for it. The original was action first, scares second. I don't think I would mind if Visceral actually made Isaac move around a bit smoother and faster to make the action more frenetic. I mean ultimately that was the first games flaw, the gameplay was slow to heighten the scares but towards the end when all you were doing was fighting hordes of necromorphs it was a hindrance.

I smell an April fools joke considering there's been...how much information has been on this game exactly?

Either way doesn't matter, they lost me once they announced that they weren't even going to try and make it a horror game this time. And apparently I'm not the only one.
