Conflicting statement from Sony as a recent episode of Qore showed off 3D for some first-party games but has now supposedly released a statement stating that 3D versions of those games are not in production.

A recent episode of Qore on the Playstation Network revealed that a number of existing games such as Killzone 2, LittleBigPlanet, Gran Turismo 5, and Wipeout HD would be getting the 3D treatment. However, Sony has recently issued a "clarification" according to the site that originally posted the story, The Gamer Access.

This is very strange. Qore is affliated with Sony, so any info they release should be pretty much confirmed right? So either this is a case of the left hand not knowing what the right is doing, or people misinterpreted, I can't tell from my quick scan of the article.

GT5 was confirmed to have 3D a long time ago; they even had demonstrations of it. The other two I'm not so sure, but GT5 for sure has 3D.

Yes, they showed GT5 off at CES with 3D but, per the statement from Sony in the article, that was for demonstration purposes and GT5 isn't going to have 3D.

they would have had to do the programing for the game for that demo, not sure why they would just stop short. GT5 would be a huge addition to the line-up of games for the 3D tech.

All I can say is the PS4 should be able to hold this capability, if the PS3 can't.
