Are you using the power saving features on your Playstation 3 or Xbox 360? Or are you in the nearly 50% of console owners who don't know that the consoles even have a power save feature.

A recent study on game consoles by Retrevo has revealed that nearly half of all console owners aren't aware of the power saving features built-in to the consoles. However, most console owners do appear to be diligent about turning their game consoles off when not in use.

I know there is a power save feature... but whenever I leave the room I usually turn it off anyways.

Same as you Aussie Legend. This doesn't exactly surprise me though, you can't expect most people to know every little feature their console has, hell I'm sure there are quiet a few things I'm unaware of concerning my PS3.

I'm aware of it, but I don't have any use for it, since my PS3 is on only when I'm playing a game, or when its downloading something.

Same here. I hardly ever leave my PS3 on when its not in use.

I've got two kids so I turned mine on just in case they have one of those days where they forget to turn it off.

Would be nice if there was an "Automatically pick up controllers and games and put them in the proper place" option as well.

So I read somewhere that if you just let your PS3 and XBox 360 sit there, each month it drains $30 in power just for idling. Ever since then, I just unplug my systems when I don't use them regularly.
