Lego Starwars: The Complete Trilogy for the PS3 is going to be out of this world, pun intended. With SIXAXIS controls for the ships and enhanced graphics, this is a must have if you liked any of the other games, or if you like Starwars altogether. It has enough new stuff to bring those who beat both games back, too.

As Qui-Gon Jinn and a young Obi-Wan milled about the familiar between-stages cantina, their hair exhibited the sheen you'd expect from their plastic counterparts and their capes had a cloth texture so detailed it was as if you could feel it between your fingers. LEGO Star Wars characters always resembled the little plastic toys they're based on, but now they look exactly like the plastic toys they're based on.

The Complete Saga is everything that was awesome about the first two games -- drop-in and drop-out gameplay, hordes of unlockables, force powers and red bricks -- plus crazy new console stuff such as improved graphics, drop-in and drop-out online gameplay, Sixaxis support, new levels, new characters, new bounty hunter missions and more.

Being the first LEGO title to get a crack at Sixaxis controls, Star Wars is looking to take full advantage and change some of the levels you remember. All those flying missions from the previous games will now be controlled by motion. We got to try the scheme during Anakin's battle over Coruscant from Episode III. It was the same blow-up-the-big-red-things-to-advance level as LEGO Star Wars: the Video Game, but now we had to rely on twisting our wrists instead of moving the analog sticks. The system felt a bit loose and imprecise -- it took a couple of attempts to navigate our small ship through a relatively large hole in one of the cruisers -- but when it worked, diving and climbing via sharp dips and jerks was fun to get the hang of.

So, fans, don't freak out -- this hasn't been twisted and manipulated like some special editions you might recall. Instead, you're getting all the great gameplay you remember and a full plate of extras. Fire up your droids and look for LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga this November.

I am definately going to get this when it comes out. Hopefully they will realease a list of Achievements for the 360 version, since that is the one I am most likely going to get, but if I had a PS3 I would most likely get it for it.

I never understand why people honestly get this game, in the past I have got it and found it to be a massive and yet even boring let down then many other games in the past, though I did find a couple of things to be exciting about the story hence some comedy it sucked big time for me. Why do people like this ?

Yeah Lego Star Wars really is overrated. Its okay for a rent but spending another $100 for just a remixed game isn't worth it

Ah so the Playstation 3 is taking advantage of it's Sixaxis controller in this game then, this will undoubtedly in my mind give it an edge over the Xbox 360. I'm all up for that though, using technology to it's full potential (as Lego StarWars here on PS3 looks like it plans to) is good.

Funny to hear you say that as your are up microsofts ass but still xD

But it is good to hear they are offering what they can to the game but it wont make it anymore then a poor game.

I played the first two. Never beat them because I found them to be really boring. I doubt I'd be buying this.
