Does installing Xbox 360 games to a USB flash drive give much of a boost to load times? This article does a comparison between a handful of disk based retail games and Arcade games to see.

With the release of the system update that allows USB storage devices hitting the Xbox 360, many gamers have wondered about how USB drives might perform. Is it faster, slower, about the same? We wondered the same thing since the the update allows games to be installed on USB flash drives and took a look at several retail and Xbox Live Arcade games to compare how well they perform.

    Wow, I was expecting the hard drive to be much faster.

    This update going to help me and my 20GB hard drive out allot, with every game nowadays having lots of DLC, I didn't know how I was going to make to the next gen without buying a new hard drive.
