All the hype about Cliff Bleszinksi's big reveal on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and someone has to go and leak the details ahead of that. It will still be cool to actually see the game though instead of reading about it.

The same publishing source that leaked the Gears of War 3 release date is back with something even juicier, gameplay details. Some of this information may put a bit of a damper on Cliff Bleszinski's upcoming reveal on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon on Monday.

Although I haven't the time to read the article yet, I'll go by what the title says:

Loving everything except for Mech's... they don't really work in Lost Planet (multiplayer I mean) and I doubt they will work here either. Unless you can like, jump on the back of a Brumak then rip shit up like in the last mission of Gears 2, that would be pretty pwnige.

    Can't F'ing wait for Gears 3.

EDIT: Just read the article, luckily it seems like the Mech's aren't actually vehicles *phew*

Also, what was wrong with the cover system? I really liked it, much better than most where you just walk up to it (imo).

Also like they're expanding the locales. Gears 2 was a step up from Gears 1 in this regard (one of the few), and it looks like Gears 3 is gonna improve on this further.

Gears of War > Gears of War 2 in anyway I can think of.

Gears of War 2's online was, putting it kindly, crap and usually broken. I dunno what was wrong with the original, which to this very day is one of the best games of ALL time tbh. Better get your finger out epic and get it right!

Gears of War 2 was, to put it bluntly...garbage. Epic totally ruined the multiplayer in the sequel. Wall-tagging with nades was ridiculous, downing people with smoke was ridiculous, and the biggest issue is that they almost completely changed character movement speed and it slowed down movement and reactions of players to such a drastic degree. Everything felt sluggish, and overall, killed the experience.

All they had to do was keep everything the same from Gears of War and add new weapons and maps. Will Epic realize their mistakes? Well, they should, after Gears 2 just about bombed on Live and players stopped playing.

    I dont have high hopes.

I wouldn't call it garbage. I would say that I expected more. The series needs some long needle injection of some new gameplay mechanics to make the game lively.

I cant wait until Gears 3 comes out.

With what I've heard about the underwater elements I think this could dramatically change the movement In a god way r a way that could bring it tumbling down. Also i hope Epic introduce a leveling scheme that rewards you with new weapons other than a higher number and eventually a pretty simbol.

      ...no...just no.

I like the original gameplay, and hate the newer. So in this case less is more and I'd be happy if we had all the gameplay and drama of the first with the content of the second.
