That's right! Apple has officially talked about the new iPhone OS 4.0 and has said that developers already have it. This new version has very interesting features, along some others that people have been longing for ever since 2.2.1 was released.

Some of these features are:

  • Multitasking (Only works with the iPhone 3GS and the iTouch G3).
  • Folders with Intelligent naming. Apparently, we will have officiall support to put our apps in folders now, rather than using the Cydia app Categories!
  • Game Center social network. For all those gamers who like challenges and like to post up scores online.

Apple has announced iPhone 4.0, available for developers in beta form starting today and arriving for iPhone and iPod touch users sometime this summer, and iPad users in the fall.
