Thought Metal Gear Solid 4's product placement was crazy? You ain't seen nothing yet.
It was recently revealed that Peace Walker will have even more tie-ins, including: Pepsi, Suntory, Mountain Dew, Doritos, Uniqlo, and even AXE deodorant.

The Monster Hunter and Assassin's Creed tie-ins are likely the biggest collaborations announced at today's Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker completion ceremony. But Konami announced a whole lot more than just those two.

    Eh, most of it seems there to either further the experience or as a joke, I have no problem with either.

    The way it has been handled in the MGS universe has never pulled me out of the experience, if anything it's brought me further into the world.

    Product placement is the kind of advertising I have always supported as long as it doesn't try to fight for attention with the actual media.
