Today has been dubbed Bungie day in light of the lucky number: 7. They've released some gamer pictures and themes on Xbox Live for free, as well as information on their website. Free and 360 don't usually go together, so I'm definately going to download some packs =D

Here it is everybody, the freebies from Bungie. On Xbox Live, you can get a new theme and picture pack set. Remember, it's only available until Sunday.

On Bungie's Web site, they've released the lovely picture seen above from the cover of Gamepro magazine. They've also released some information on the Brute Chopper and two variations of the Mjolnir armor. The pictures of the Mjolnir armor are in 3D so you can spin them right round and view all the angles of the image.

I always find it neat when game makers will give so much detail to their creations. Bungie gives you the weight, length and tons on other info on all the weapons and vehicles from Halo. Sure, it doesn't matter in the slightest to anyone playing the game, but it's nice to know that team Bungie is so passionate at what they do.

Good news. I'll be downloading this stuff today! Although I have seen some people upset because of the date. This article has more info, but there is also another one posted here for anyone interested. I might have a new Gamer pic soon!

I hate these duplicate articles. Seriously, don't clog up the website just because you're too *bleep*ing lazy to check if it's already there. Hell, they even GIVE you a list of articles that could be similar to the one you're submitting.

It's not his fault. The author of the previous posted article spelled Bungie with a J in the title, therefore it would not have been recognized in the system. It can be easy to overlook these things, especially when there is a misspelling like that, along with the rate at which new articles are posted.

I actually didn't catch that bit that they were going to be gone on Sunday until just now. I guess I better hook up to Live and download them before it is too late! >

Thanks Vito. Okami, did you not read that I was sorry >_> I don't usually do this. It didn't show that Triple Sevens one...and my skim through didn't pick it up. It happens.

If you play their games like Halo and Halo 2, you can find a lot of references to the number 7.

okay just to set things straight... i did post this article before storm and it was actually headed as 07/07/07 Bungie Day when i submitted it... but then i realised that whoever approved my article rewrote the title to 'triple sevens bunjie day' which was NOT what i wrote.. so you can't blame me on this one..
