The deal that Sony and Quantic Dream made about making an exclusive game has been announced. It seems the game is Heavy Rain. Also they say that Sony didn't order them to make this project. Quantic Dream funded it themselves. It also goes on to say that this game will use the power of the ps3 to its fullest. And that its a game only the ps3 can do.
Well this is great news for Sony. If this lives up to what they hope, Sony could be looking at another great game. Also a game to push the sales.

Whereas the French studio has just announced an exclusive title for Sony, Guillaume de Fondaumière, directing general, answers our questions: choices of the PS3, actors virtual and generally accepted ideas on the development multiplateforme… Interview.
Mysterious official statement that that sent last Monday at the same time by Sony Europe and Quantic Dream, developer of Fahrenheit. A partnership is announced there, for the development of an exclusive title Playstation 3 - rare promise by times which run - but no mention is made future Heavy Rain, however presented in good place on the Sony stand during E3 2006 and known to be developed mainly on the new console of the manufacturer. It is to know some a little more than we contacted Guillaume de Fondaumière, directing general of the studio; a long conversation, free and relaxed, which finally ventured on multiple subjects and of which we propose the first part today to you.

Overgame: Why maintain the mystery around a title which will be most probably Heavy Rain?

Guillaume de Fondaumière: One did not find for the moment necessary to announce the title of the play. Quite simply also because one decided anything to show of this next play before a few weeks.

In E3?

Not, that will be a little later that E3, a relatively important demonstration for Japanese, if you see what I want to say. Thus in step very a long time now. There is no official confirmation owing to the fact that that is Heavy Rain, here.

Finally clearly, I see a studio badly launching the development of two plays conceived mainly for Playstation 3 in parallel.

Not, not for the moment in any case, even if one should not be long in launching a second production. But for the moment, one works on a project with Sony and then rather quickly, I think, one will announce the exact title of the title.

Many journalists make already the bringing together between the mysterious title and Heavy Rain.

Everyone made the bringing together, and I let them make the bringing together. But I do not have, at this stage, to confirm or cancel. One simply communicated in a certain manner. In any event, that the play is called for the moment Heavy Rain or another thing, that is not very important. I think that it will be more interesting to discover which type of play that will be. We will reveal obviously his title, the details of the play, the images - not that images besides - towards the end September.

How does the development occur on Heavy Rain?

Very well!

It is almost impossible to use 1005 of the CELL i mean Uncharted: Drakes Fortune which is one of the best games ever made for a console is only using 30% currently.

Yeah, I doubt they'll be using 100%, maybe more then Drake's though...

It will most likely end up the most processor intensive game to date (when it is released naturally)...

Currently, aside from needing a lot of processing power, I havn't really learned anything about the game at all...

OK its going to use 100% percent of it whether you believe it or not. They said it themselves. And whats hard to read, its well written. I didn't write this i found it on another site. Also it says this game will never be a port cause when they do utilize its full potential, to port will water it down which they have no intention of doing.
