A Rant On Bosses: Final Fantasy & Shank

Sadly it's not the kind we were expecting. A Lego Star Wars game is heading for the Wii, and that's okay, though I'd rather have a brand-new game than another remake, heh. Perhaps if this game does well they'll consider a deeper lightsaber game, un-lego'ed =P
When the Wii Remote was first revealed, some though of tennis while real gamers thought of Star Wars - an FPS Lightsaber would be the thing of dreams.
A re-release of Lego Star Wars might not quite be the game we all dreamed of, but it'll raise a fair few smiles with its new Wii-enhanced controls. While most of the fighting commands can still be performed by pressing a button, they can be powered up further with motion control.
The building of objects with loose Lego bricks (done with the Z button) can sped up by moving the Wii Remote up and down - emulating the motion of the little Lego Man's arms.
Force powers are also done with Z and similarly can be powered-up by directing them with the Wii Remote, while moving the remote from down to up with blaster-type characters activates their grapple hook.
Wii Remote waggle is in there too, predictably serving up the basic attacks, as well as batting away incoming laser fire with Lightsabur characters, says GameSpy.
Like we said, not quite 'The Dream' and the fact that it was designed for an ordinary controls seems to show, but it could be fun.

Wait, wasn't there that video of the guy pretending he was a jedi and EVERYONE laughed at him? Yea...thats what i thought
Oh and that movie you say everyone laughed at is the most viewed video on the internet with over a billion views.
Now if they would make a Star Wars game that doesn't have Lego in it's name.
and Reenee, i never said i didn't want this game to happen either...I just said the wii was made and is perfect for dumb little lego star wars type games...which is true, hence the reason everyone wants this game on the wii...
But hey it'll still be a great game to play.
As long as we get to wield the saber however we want, and not have preset animations like what I heard they did in Red Steel.
