Uncharted gets a whopping $300 art book

There are art books, and then there are amazing ar tbooks. Naughty Dog as revealed a 272 page art book, which is bound in leather, embossed in gold, and has another leather bound case. Can't afford the 300 dollar version? try the 129 dollar version which doesn't have gold. Still too pricey? Try the 60 dollar version which has just a soft cover case.

While some special edition artbooks could be politely identified as "pamphlets," Naughty Dog has taken a different approach with its illustration-filled tome based on Uncharted 2. The studio (with help from Ballistic Publishing) is releasing a 272-page book featuring the game's "concept art ... character studies, environment art, character modeling, game art, cinematics, motion-capture, animation, and effects." However, all these half-tucked works of art exact a fairly high price from those who wish to acquire them.

    I'd get the $129 version just because art looks very good when it's not tattered and torn which is what happens to most paper back books even if you are careful, the leather back will hopefully help keep the art within fresh and cool.

    PS. If you are a big enough fan to want the $300 edition get in fast. They are only making 200 of them and about 100 have already been sold and this is pretty fresh news, in a few hours they may all be gone never to be made again.

      Just wait for one person to scan them and upload them. They will get leaked eventually.

        The point of fanboyism is having the collectors edition type things and lording it over other people; has the internet taught you nothing?
