that's decent. i'm just wondering how long the longest cut scene will be. i tend to play on the toilet and don't wanna sit longer just to see a feature film

MGS4 having nearly 545 Minutes of cutscenes doesn't suprise me, it was basically a MGS film with bits of gameplay thrown in, However, it was DAMN GOOD. =P

I can't say that I've ever played a Metal Gear Solid game, but...don't you guys get bored? Metal Gear Solid 4 having nine hours of cutscenes you can't interact with? Isn't that kind of... unnecessary?

Nope. They're done really well and story is engaging if you've played and enjoyed the others.

Not really, but at some points, yes. There were quite a few dialogues which could have been cut out or condensed in MGS4.

Yeah, well they weren't unnecessary as much as a little overblown, they repeated points and kind of drove stuff home a little more often that I thought necessary.

That said, I loved every minute of my first playthrough. It's just subsequent playthroughs where it bothers me.
