Last nights episode of Doctor Who revealed the release of the upcoming, PC downloadable game. The advertisement after the episode revealed that Doctor Who: The Adventure Games are going to be release June 5 this year. This will be the only Doctor Who game since the release of Doctor Who: Destiny of the Doctors, which was released in 1997.
Tonight’s episode of BBC sci-fi drama Doctor Who was followed by the first national TV trailer for the upcoming Doctor Who: The Adventure Games – which, it has now been revealed, will be released on June 5th.
The free PC game is set in the 1960s and will feature the new breed of multicoloured Daleks that escaped the clutches of the Doctor just two hours ago on BBC One.
Featuring the likenesses and voices of the show’s current stars, Matt Smith and Karen Gillen, the new game is being developed by established UK studio Sumo Digital. Also involved in famed adventure games creator Charles Cecil of Revolution Software.
