Guitar Hero III to feature SLASH?

Not that GamerSquad necessarily needs another reason to pull on its best rocker wig in order to shred moulded plastic notes on Guitar Hero. Awesome games don't need reasons. But if you're not sure about spending time with Guitar Hero III then allow the prospect of facing off against, and eventually playing as, SLASH (he of Buns & Toasties fame) draw you back to your replica Gibson SG.

If the wait for Guitar Hero III isn't already unbearable enough, rumour has it that legendary Velvet Revolver and Guns 'N' Roses guitarist, SLASH, will be available as a playable character.

    As if I didn't hate this series enough, they have to add the one guitarist I just can't stand. Put Nigel Tufnel from Spinal Tap in there, please.

    Can't say this is a selling point for me, but my friend is stuck in the 80's, so I'm sure this has made at least one sale.

    Now they just need Van Halen and he'll camp out for the game.

    Considering that I dont normally pay attention to things like this, I am going to take it that people arent too happy about this.

    It isnt going to get me too rowled uo, maybe I will check it out.

    It seems that people really care about this issue... I don't really care who it features to be honest. As long as they have good songs I'm going to be buying Guitar Hero III for the Playstaition 2

      Uch, I typed up an awesome huge post, but I wasn't logged in (figures) so it got deleted. Anyways, my point isn't that it's a bad thing, just nothing that makes me want the game more. I already dislike the series and find it a bit monotonous and boring, and the fact that they're trying to monopolize on Slash is just kinda lame I thought.

      And I like when they choose poor songs because that way my brother doesn't ruin all the good ones for me by playing until he can nail them perfectly, while blindfolded on expert

      I'd rather just go play my guitar. Too each their own though, I'm sure some people will be stoked
