    I don't usually need them, but every once in a while I do feel the need to look something up. So yeah, I too think its a bad idea.

    As long as all the info is on the case/disk then I'm fine with it. More people might actually look at them that way.

    I actually quite enjoy thumbing through the paper manuals every now and then for a bit of back story that isn't found in the game itself every now and then. Really, I've been rather disappointed with the 4 page black and white disclaimers that they seem to have been packaging with games lately.
