Things go boom today on Xbox Live with the release of the Split/Second demo. Drivers will take to the airport terminal track where they can trigger demolishing events to win the race.

We've got a surprise demo this morning as the action-racing game Split/Second careens on to Xbox Live. Disney Interactive and Black Rock Studios have mentioned previously that a demo was incoming but they were playing coy as to when it would be available. That time would be now for Xbox 360 owners. PS3 owners will have to wait until May 11 to take the game for a test drive.
