Activision signs Bungie to a massive 10 year deal

In a huge announcement, it has just been revealed that Bungie have signed a massive 10 year deal with leading publisher Activision Blizzard! Does this mean Halo will come to PS3? More details inside.

    Isn't halo owned by Microsoft? Anyway this is pretty big, but hasn't bungie learned anything from the IW fiasco?

    Edit: hmm, seems like they have been working on this agreement for a while.

    Should be pretty cool to see what Bungie will come up with outside of the Halo universe... I just wish it wasn't with Activision.

        All they've really had holding them up was the zerg rush of Guitar Hero and CoD and even then the former fell apart last year and the latter is going down to Battlefield according to many.

    Either way, their partnership was good and many look forward to them to create some exciting news in the next 10 years of video gaming. After all, merger after merger is being launched lately, and now that the Activision Bungie merger is going to take place, video gaming will be modifying. Bungie is recognized for making the XBox <a title=" Activision and Bungie partner up for a decade" href="http://personalmoneystore.com/moneyblog/2010/04/29/activision-bungie-partnership/">Halo</a> games. This merger with Activision will probably open doors for the video game business to spread further than XBox to possibly Playstaion's and PC's. With any luck, this will even strengthen both companies' weak sides; and help them to have a larger share within the industry. That would be amazing, to be able to play some of Bungie's games on my pc, would be an experience in itself!

      But you're forgetting that this is Activision. Bungie are great, I'd love them to dev for PC and PS, but they're still going to be lorded over by the *bleep*s they're merged with. You can attach a pig to the bottom of an eagle and call it a flying pig, but either way it's going to die of exhaustion, and soon.
