At their investor's briefing today concerning the end of the previous fiscal year, Nintendo unveiled a new title that is aimed at a broader audience, unlike Xenoblade and The Last Story at their previous briefing. This title is the latest in the wide-reaching Wii series titled Wii Party, a game that hopes to have something for every Wii player.

Not many details were made available, but from the screenshots released show three different game modes: Teiban party for standard games up to four players, Pair party for games up to two players, and Living party, a mysterious gameplay type that will feature new play types made possible by the Wiimote.

We'll probably find out more at E3.

What's next after Wii Sports, Wii Fit and Wii Music? Nintendo CEO Satoru Iwata provided that answer at an investor briefing today as he detailed Wii Party.

Wii Party is, as the name might suggest, a collection of party games. Slides shown during the briefing suggested the following modes of play:

    these stupid minigame collections are a major reason the Wii sucks for gamers. Nintendo must be retarded if they think they can keep gamers interested with this shit. seriously.
