So far there have been some rumors floating around about a sequel and now those rumors can be put to rest, It seems Gaminformer has got some exciting and thorough information about what to expect in the next LBP game. Be sure to check it out.

There are a few details we have via a NeoGaf forum member. The sequel will include new tools to allow players to create puzzle games, racing games, role-playing games, and real-time strategy games. Players will also be able to create and edit short films, record their own sound effects, and create their own cut scenes.

The post also indicates that the sequel will include the all new Sackbot, a programmable enemy. Players can define controls for the enemies, vehicles, and the Sackboy himself. This sounds like one of the biggest changes we’ll see to LittleBigPlanet 2. It also appears you’ll be able to bring in all of your created levels, downloadable content, and costumes from LBP.

lol LBP2 sound like a video game creators tool. seems pretty sweet. also if anyone DL the move video on PS store there was a short with LBP in there and a move controller on screen.

Wow. I'm not sure. Perhaps it could become over complicated for the vast majority of people. Take the original for example, anyone could make a level, but only a few could make levels that are worth shouting about.

Well here's to hoping it ISN'T too complicated! Though it is being toted as a sort of GAME-creation game instead of just making levels haha
