And they need to fix that camera, to wonky during battles.
EDIT: The graphics look amazing, really well done.
Also don't make us fight on earth when we are supposed to be on King Kai's planet, Frieza's spaceship in space etc.
If they keep the unlockable missions they can shove the game uo their arse and this is coming from someone who will practically buy anything with the name Dragonball Z on it.
And Raging Blast 3 and Raging Blast 4 and Raging Blast 5...
also bring back world tournament, leave out story mode, or do something creative with it. we've all played the story 60 million times in every other game, and it's always the same.
really, it's not difficult to make a good game out of an awesome franchise, but they have YET to get it right. the closest they came was with budokai 2. tho the GBA games were neat, for what they were.. fun stuff.
The DBZ games, for the most part, have a light punch, heavy punch/kick, 4-5 Ki special attacks, and a handful of combos. There are truly only about 15 unique characters, and the rest are so similar to these characters that they're practically just re-skinned versions. Whats more, the combos are exactly the same for every character, and the effects differ only by a hair.
SF(4) has several different combos, supers, ultras, and several more ways in which they can be combined and used. Every character is unique. Most of all, you need timing, strategy and knowledge on the fighting styles of every character to master it. The DBZ games aren't nearly as technical as the SF games.
Super DBZ might be an exception, but I wouldn't know since I haven't played it. However, the fact that it didn't do well only proves my point- the majority of the people who'll go and buy the latest DBZ game don't want complexity.
I'd say that Budokai 3 was the most techincal fighter in the DBZ series, since it had all those rage modes, and you could really use cancels to you advantage, but even that doesn't reach SF level.
I actually really liked it even though it only had the Japanese voices and I don't like the Jaoanese voices.
