Now by 90 characters do they mean 60 characters and 30 transformations?

And they need to fix that camera, to wonky during battles.
EDIT: The graphics look amazing, really well done.

They better fix the crappy camera and PLEASE don't make us have to collect crap to unlock story missions that we have done over and over again. That was my biggest problem with RB.Having to do crappy missions to get stars to unlock story levels where I fight Cell or Frieza in a specific story element when we have done it so many times before.

Also don't make us fight on earth when we are supposed to be on King Kai's planet, Frieza's spaceship in space etc.

this new game looks like they will iron out all of those graphical details. i dunno about the collecting stuff tho

The graphics didn't bother me it was the fact that when you fought Frieza in Bardoks mission you didn't face him on Frieza's spaceship. Also fighting on Earth I think when we were supposed to be fighting on Supreme Kai's planet etc.

If they keep the unlockable missions they can shove the game uo their arse and this is coming from someone who will practically buy anything with the name Dragonball Z on it.

yeah thats what i meant by graphics Gamesta. i think with this one they will iron out the environmental details and make sure that battles are taking places at the right stages. i read that they are having facial expressions... the stages seem like the obvious thing to do if they are concentrating on details of the face

after posting that I realised that by graphics you meant stages missing.

honestly, i can't believe this got the green light for a sequel. the last one was one of the worst dbz games yet. they need to bring back the old capsule system for giving characters specialized stats, or at least the card system from another road 2.. honestly anything is better than that awful 'drama' thing they had in raging blast. that ruined the *bleep*ing game.

also bring back world tournament, leave out story mode, or do something creative with it. we've all played the story 60 million times in every other game, and it's always the same.

really, it's not difficult to make a good game out of an awesome franchise, but they have YET to get it right. the closest they came was with budokai 2. tho the GBA games were neat, for what they were.. fun stuff.

Wasn't the drama piece things in DBZ Burst Limit, not Raging Blast? Idk, i only played Raging Blast for like half an hour and stopped due to it being the exact same shit I've played on a DBZ game since Final Bout on ps1.

I just wish they'd make it more technical, like SF or Tekken. The way it is now, its just too simple, but I guess they do that to appeal to their target audience.

Huh? Raging Blast sort of reverted back to the Tenkaichi formula, which allows you to navigate an entire fighting space. Street Fighter and Tekken are pretty damn limited. I'm not saying your wrong, I just can't see how Street Fighter is more technical then DBZ games ( Excluding burst limit and budokai, their pretty much variations of Street Fighter forumla. )

Budokai 3 and Tenkaichi 3 are my favourite ones.

Having a larger fighting area doesn't mean its more techincal.

The DBZ games, for the most part, have a light punch, heavy punch/kick, 4-5 Ki special attacks, and a handful of combos. There are truly only about 15 unique characters, and the rest are so similar to these characters that they're practically just re-skinned versions. Whats more, the combos are exactly the same for every character, and the effects differ only by a hair.

SF(4) has several different combos, supers, ultras, and several more ways in which they can be combined and used. Every character is unique. Most of all, you need timing, strategy and knowledge on the fighting styles of every character to master it. The DBZ games aren't nearly as technical as the SF games.

Super DBZ might be an exception, but I wouldn't know since I haven't played it. However, the fact that it didn't do well only proves my point- the majority of the people who'll go and buy the latest DBZ game don't want complexity.

I'd say that Budokai 3 was the most techincal fighter in the DBZ series, since it had all those rage modes, and you could really use cancels to you advantage, but even that doesn't reach SF level.

They did that with Super DBZ and most people didn't really like it and I'm sure it sold poorly.

I actually really liked it even though it only had the Japanese voices and I don't like the Jaoanese voices.

Yeah I liked Super Dragon Ball Z too. I just prefer Tenkaichi.

Actually Ex I think people didn't really like SDBZ because of the lack of characters and levels.Plus even though the moves were more technical (the game was actually basically a copy of SF just with DBZ characters and moves), the game was actually more limited than the other DBZ's.

Well, I never played the game, so I really don't know how it plays like.
