Left 4 Dead 2 introduced the Mutations a few weeks ago. These was new rules for the multiplayer mode which were supposed to change every week. This first Mutation: Realism Versus meets a huge success. As a consequence and because of a vote, Valve took the decision to transform this Mutation into a permanent mode.

Because of a positive official vote, Valve decided to permanently integrate the Realism Versus mode to Left 4 Dead 2. You enjoyed the mode and wanted to play it whenever you want: so Valve heard it and did it!
