Pokémon Black and White Starters Revealed

After a few days wait we finally recieve the full images of the new Pokémon Black and White starters. Also the new region name, which Pokémon Black and White is based in, has been revealed.

    I should be getting Pokabu (Fire Starter) on Pokémon White and a random one on Pokémon Black.

          She has Amy Winehouse hair coming out of the back of her hat. She looks completely ridiculous. It is not fine.

          Plus how the hell am I supposed to see the intro animation for a wild pokemon with THAT in my way?

          The point is the main characters are meant to be the relatable ones in this fun and insane world. Making them look like mentally messed up gym leaders is only going to ruin that effect which worked so beautifully in the past, barring HG/SS anyway.

          Need I bring up the female Crystal Trainer -_-

          And her hair is only wacky in the character art if thats how you think her hair is. In game, from the screens, doesn't look bad at all. And we don't even know how the trainers will appear during battle.

      They'll probably be given different, English names. I mean Bulbasaur was originally Fushigidane, if wiki is to be believed.

    It seems RUINED FOREVER and mindless prerelease critique is in full effect as always.

    I'm intrigued in the older protagonists though, marketing to a slightly older demograph or just going with the flow of the anime/manga trend of 'young adolescents are the new 10-year olds'?

    I hate them, the grass start looks okay....but I don't have high hopes for the new pokemons, I just hope that the fire starter won't be the only fire poke this time around (and I do realize there where other fire pokes in Gen IV but none of them normal excluding old ones)

      Well the President of the Pokémon Franchise said he would like hit 1000 Pokémon before even stopping this series. So we may see worse over the next couple of years, unless they go bust which I highly doubt.

    I want this game. The starters look really supid though. They all look smug and strange. The fire being the worst, the water being a complete rip-off of piplup. But I think the new girl is really hot. Compared to that huge hat wearing girl from new HG and SS. This is an amazing new thing to me.

      Yeah, they just took the huge hat and turned it into her hair, then turned the hair of the huge hatted one into a small hat.
