Manchester United's Ronaldo to be Pro Evo 2008 cover boy

Cristiano Ronaldo, world famous midfielder of the Manchester United and Portugal has signed a deal with Konami to have his face on the cover of Konami's well known football/soccer franchise Pro Evo 2008. Pro Evo 2008 has been dated for release in October this year.

Unsurprisingly, Ronaldo claimed to be delighted with the Konami deal. "For me there is no other game that can capture the grace and skill of football like PES 2008," he said. "Every element of the game is lavished with incredible detail, and with its close control and fast pace it is the most complete simulation of real football out there."

    Comes as no suprise at all and nobody can see he hasn't deserved it. Looking forward to the release of PES7.

    good to know he plays with himself. Games are enjoyed by many pro athletes it seems. They all like to play with themselves against their teammates and beat them when they can't in reality.

    Knew it would be him! said this to me mate months ago! either him or rooney, but he tends to be on Fifa's case, i'll just replace it with a small pic of the lfc team!! atleast we have a release date

    God why did it have to be hime, I would have loved it to be someone like Kaka, he deserves it more then Ronaldo *sigh*
