Go Fanboy has reported via CVG that four titles will get free patches this Summer to enable full stereoscopic 3D functionality. The games are WipEout HD, Motorstorm: Pacific Rift, SuperStardust HD and PAIN.

Sony is treating a lot of gamers right according to a recent announcement regarding the upcoming firmware release for the PS3 that will enable 3D in games this summer. According to our friends over at CVG, several different PS3 titles will be getting the 3D patch for free this summer to coincide with the new functionality of the hardware.
