Capcom announced today their plans to port the first of Phoenix's cases over to the iPhone. Typically released on Nintendo's consoles, the Ace Attorney series got its start on the Game Boy Advance and was later ported to the DS. Like the DS version of the game, the iPhone version promises to take full advantage of the device's touch-screen using what Capcom describes as "flick interface".

Phoenix Wright on the iPhone looks to be a port of the original Nintendo DS release, which itself began life as a Game Boy Advance game. Interestingly, the release promises "all five of the GBA classic cases," despite the original's fifth case being exclusive to the Nintendo DS.

Now this is cool. Paying $40 or $35 for a game like this always struck as a bit moronic. I figure the price will be around $10 in iTunes?
