Revealed through their Japanese Fire Emblem website, Nintendo has announced a new remake for the Fire Emblem series: Fire Emblem: Shin Monsho no Nazo ~Hikari to Kage no Eiyuu~ (lit. Fire Emblem: New Mystery of the Emblem ~Hero of Light and Shadow~) Like the previous Fire Emblem remake, Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon, this remake will also be available for the Nintendo DS, developed by Intelligent Systems. The original Fire Emblem: Monsho no Nazo for the Super Famicom consisted of two parts: Book One which was a remake of the first Fire Emblem game (and already remade as Shadow Dragon), and Book Two, which was was a continuation of events.
