As inevitable as the sun rising tomorrow, a new Guitar Hero game has been announced. Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock will be the sixth iteration in the series, not counting band games and spin offs such as Band Hero and DJ Hero. A release date has also been placed at September 21st, and more information will presumably be released at E3.

To me, Guitar Hero is a guilty pleasure - I have five of them and I've rented/played two more. I'm not sure I'll get Warriors of Rock, but I'll keep an eye open for it.

Another year means another Guitar Hero game, but this fall's entry in the franchise won't be numbered, as in "Guitar Hero 6." Instead, it will be titled Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock, according to its listing on Amazon. The release date is set for September 21.

This actually has me intrigued, if they really do get 'Warriors of Rock' and not this *bleep*ing indie and ecclectic shit they got for Guitar Hero 5 it could be hella fun.

Maybe it is a return to what make Guitar Hero 3: Legends of Rock so good.

Bohemian Rhapsody (pretty much) confirmed. *BLEEP* YEAH.

    Others confirmed

My arthritis is already kicking in when I saw Fury of the Storm there. That solo is gonna be a *bleep*.

Bohemian Rhapsody, Uprising and another Dragonforce? *bleep* yes.

Considering I thought Guitar Hero 3 has the best soundtrack of any non-band game, this is good news. Just release a Bloc Party/Blink-182 DLC pack, eh Activision?

      I might actually get this.

So far it looks to be aiming for a track list to rival Guitar Hero 3. GH3 had a track list that was so good for rock and metal the others after it added so much pop and indie.

I have a feeling RB3 will blow this setlist away. With the inclusion of keyboards, so many more songs are possible. Not to mention you'll be able to play the piano in Bo Rhap.

Harmonix. Red Octane. I have a challenge for you.

The first of you to license Life on Mars - David Bowie gets my support.

    GO!
